The group arrived safely and have already been making their mark on Israel! So far they have been to Beit Guvrin, an archeological site, where they had the opportunity to dig for ancient ceramics, to Jerusalem, where they took part in a "schechiyanu" ceremony (prayer on doing something for the first time), visited the Old City. At the Western Wall, some of the students took the time to teach others a prayer.
They are currently at a Bedouin Tent in the desert where they have ridden camels and had a chance to experience traditional Bedouin hospitality. They have just returned from a hike to watch the sunset and are looking forward a discussion this evening.
